- The WBG Pioneers Internship Program offers students and graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on real development projects carried out in Washington, D.C. and World Bank Group offices worldwide -

Who can apply?
➡️ Students and graduates from up to 18 fields, including:
economics, investments and investment portfolio management, public health, education, nutrition, demography, social sciences (anthropology, sociology), agriculture, environmental protection, engineering, spatial planning, natural resource management, private sector development, as well as accounting, communication, human resources, IT, and finance.
➡️ Final-year undergraduate students, master’s and PhD students, as well as graduates with up to 6 years of professional experience.

📅 Recruitment timeline:

• Application opening: January 19, 2026

• Application deadline: February 17, 2026

• Interviews and candidate selection: March 2026

• Internship period: April – September 2026
