Overseas Trade Executive – Europe East

Reporting Line: Fabien Lehodey - Senior Trade Manager, Europe

Zone of influence: Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia

Role: To support the expansion of the EMP team's lead generation capabilities across Europe east zone by identifying, qualifying, and managing new business opportunities - specifically focusing on freight forwarders and customs brokers with China FOB controlled customers. This position is critical in strengthening Unitex Europe "hunting team" efforts and diversifying leads sources beyond existing networks and recommendations.

Task 1: Market Research & Data Collection

• Conduct comprehensive data mining and research across Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia.

• Identify and list freight forwarders and customs brokers with potential control over China FOB customers - covering business of all sizes.

• Gather key company details: name, contact info, service profile, and decision-maker insights.

• Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, industry directories, and specialized databases.

Task 2: Lead Qualification & Initial Contact

• Collaborate with Fabien to establish initial contact on potential leads.

• Assess their business volume, current China agents, logistics needs, and overall fit with Unitex services.

• Begin early-stage promotion of Unitex capabilities and value proposition.

Task 3: Lead Handover & Internal Coordination

• Forward qualified leads (hot leads) immediately to relevant EMP Trade Managers for quoting, solutioning, and follow-up.

• Ensure a smooth and timely transition for further engagement.

Task 4: Relationship Management

• To keep contact with converted agents, ensuring after sale service and satisfaction measurement over time.

• Regular physical visits to ensure their continued loyalty in using UNITEX Services

Task 5: Pipeline & Data Management

• Maintain an up-to-date and organized leads pipeline database on Excel from the early stages.

• Recommend and help implement CRM tools, potentially with AI features, to support efficient DATA tracking and automation.
